According to our television expert
With this TV and soundbar bundle, you get a home cinema.
Thanks to the 4K resolution, every detail looks sharp.
The QD-OLED display ensures rich colors and deep black levels.
The TV doesn't have swivel leg stands, so you can't rotate it in the desired viewing direction.
Enjoy realistic sound and spatial audio with the Sony BRAVIA 8 II 55 inches QD-OLED (2025) + Sony BRAVIA Theatre Bar 9 bundle.
TelevisionGet the movie theater feeling in your own house with the Sony BRAVIA 8 II 65 inches QD-OLED (2025). Thanks to the 4K resolution, every detail is razor-sharp. You can almost count the individual blades of grass in an open field, for example. The pixels in the QD-OLED display light up or dim individually, without LED backlight. Thanks to this, the difference between light and dark parts of the image is big. Thanks to the layer of Quantum Dots, colors almost splash off the screen.
SoundbarYou can bring the movie theater into your home with the Sony BRAVIA Theatre Bar 9. Thanks to Dolby Atmos and the 4 upward-facing speakers, the sound bounces to your seat via the walls and ceiling. That way, the sound comes from all sides and you can enjoy 360-degree sound. You can really hear an airplane in an action movie fly above you. You can experience movies and series realistically and are part of the action.

The Sony Bravia 8 II QD-OLED (2025) is a top-of-the-line QD-OLED TV and highly recommended for movie buffs. I see every detail in every room thanks to the bright QD-OLED screen. I can watch a movie or series whenever I want. Thanks to the OLED pixels, I enjoy a powerful contrast between dark and light areas of the image.
QD-OLED screen for every room I think the Bravia 8 II is one of the most colorful OLED TVs of 2025. This is mainly due to the quantum dots behind the OLED pixels. These tiny particles act as a kind of color filter, allowing me to see brighter color tones. Therefore, I don't need to darken the room for a realistic viewing experience. Thanks to these brighter color tones, the screen of this OLED TV is exceptionally bright. In fact, in many cases, I even find the TV too bright. For example, I have to lower the TV's brightness in our test room. Ultimately, this is a luxury. With a few simple adjustments, the TV is suitable for any room. I can watch a movie or series whenever I want.
Realistic OLED images Thanks to the Bravia 8 II's self-illuminating pixels, I enjoy high picture quality. Each pixel is a light source and dims or switches off for dark movie scenes. This means blacks are truly black, and I can see every detail in dark series like Game of Thrones. Due to the high brightness of the OLED pixels, I sometimes experience a distracting glow, especially around bright light sources. Fortunately, I can easily solve this by lowering the brightness slightly.
Clear Google TV smart platform The Google TV smart platform is a clear advantage of the Bravia 8 II. I enjoy the clear menu and the wide range of apps. I quickly find the app or streaming service I'm looking for. There's a strong emphasis on movies and series. This way, I can immediately see an overview of the movies I'm currently watching and quickly pick up where I left off. Google TV also lists many recommended movies and series. I consider this a drawback as this part of the menu takes up a lot of space.

The Sony Bravia8II 55-inch delivers a serene viewing experience: images are calm, they move smoothly, and display rich colors with subtle refinement thanks to advanced image processing.
The design is sleek and minimalist: thin, almost bezel-less, with neat feet that also provide space for accessories like a soundbar. Even cables can be neatly concealed behind the TV. Total TV
The 55-inch size is ideally suited to average-sized living spaces: large and impactful, but not overwhelming. Built-in Chromecast via Google TV makes streaming and casting effortless—ideal for quick access to your favorite apps and content.
Unfortunately, the sound is clearly disappointing: the built-in speaker (Acoustic Surface Audio+) can reproduce dialogue well, but lacks depth, volume, and spaciousness, especially compared to competitors with strong built-in systems.
For those who appreciate clear images and sleek design, this device is ideal—but for truly immersive sound, external amplification such as a soundbar is still recommended.

Very satisfied with this high-quality smart TV. Natural images and sufficient light output for my room, which has a fair amount of light.
