Useless Samsung cover - no protection against drops

There is some transparent plastic around the Galaxy A17
No protection against falls

This product is a useless cover—with absolutely no drop protection. I expected at least some protection against drop damage from an original Samsung soft case. But the classic drop damage areas (the corners, the screen) are completely unprotected. I bought this cover (admittedly, I didn't read the description) and discovered it was a useless product.
