HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 46mm Silver/Green

The Huawei Watch GT 6 is a stylish watch with many features and a long battery life. The GT 6's design is very similar to that of a regular watch. I don't use apps like Spotify and Strava on these smartwatches.

Size and Design I've worn both the small 41-millimeter and the large 46-millimeter versions. My wrist is slender, so the smaller version looks good. The design is also more refined and lighter. The larger 46-millimeter version is thicker and therefore more prominent, but fits my wrist well. The design is a bit more robust and sporty. I've worn both watches. They're comfortable, and I barely felt them on my wrist.

Bright Screen

The screen is very bright and always easy to read, even during the day when the sun is shining on the watch. Even if I hold the watch at an angle and not directly in front of me, I can still see the time clearly. The screen responds quickly when I scroll or tap apps. I can choose from many different watch faces that I easily set on the watch itself. This way, I can give the watch a different look for different situations.

Long battery life I only looked at the battery life of the larger 46-millimeter version. I used it for three days with the always-on screen on. I also ran with it once. After those three days, I still had at least 60 percent battery left. So the watch doesn't need to be charged often.

Extensive insight into my health The GT 6 gives me insight into my sleep, stress, and exercise, among other things. I can find all this data on the watch, but also on my smartphone in the Huawei Health app. I can see my daily score for each component. This way, I get a daily sleep score. If I haven't slept enough, I get tips in the app to improve my sleep. I only download Huawei apps, so I can't listen to music from Spotify, for example.

Cycle computer and 100+ sports modes By using the watch while cycling, I use my smartphone as a bike computer. While cycling, the GT 6 measures my pedaling power, as well as my heart rate and speed. I see this data on the watch, but also on my smartphone. It has over 100 sports modes in total, from running to skiing and even skipping. In the Huawei Health app, I also find many training plans for a half marathon, for example.

I recently had the opportunity to test the Huawei WATCH GT 6 46mm Black smartwatch. Having owned the Watch GT2 years ago and been satisfied with it, I had high expectations, and they were exceeded. The Watch GT6 is easy to pair with your phone right out of the box. Once paired, you can start using it and install the Huawei app. The battery life is very impressive; after 15 days of use, I still had 30% battery according to the watch. This is unmatched by any other brand. Another great feature is the AMOLED screen, which is very clear, even in bright light. Whether exercising, walking, or cycling, the watch tracks everything from heart rate to GPS routes. The smartwatch is also excellent for everyday use because it's comfortable on the wrist, has a beautiful design, responds quickly, and the data is easy to find. There are, of course, some drawbacks: the smart functions are somewhat limited, you can't control Spotify via the watch, only via your smartphone, and you can't install all the apps. However, calling works very well, and the watch has sufficient sound to hear someone clearly. For me, this watch is perfect, and I recommend it for athletes or as a regular smartwatch due to its excellent battery life.

A beautiful and large (46mm) smartwatch with many features. For both iOS and Android. The screen brightness is excellent, making it easy to read even in sunny weather. You have to install the Huawei health app outside of the Play Store, via a QR code on the packaging. You can only use Huawei apps, so paying via Google Pay isn't possible, even though it has NFC. You can track your workouts for over 100 sports. The GPS is very accurate, which means the workout data is also very accurate. After a workout (for example, cycling), you immediately get an overview in the app. It shows the route accurately, but you can also view graphs of heart rate, speed per kilometer, and much more. Very neat and comprehensive. The battery life is also excellent. If you use it solely as a watch, it will last for weeks. However, if you exercise regularly and use GPS often, you'll have less left, but the battery life remains excellent. I use it for walking, cycling/mountain biking, swimming, and fitness. Ideal for monitoring your heart rate and reviewing your workout data in the app. A comprehensive smartwatch with many features.
