The Gillette Proglide razor blade refills come in a pack of 8, so you won't need to buy new blades for quite a while. With 8 blades, you can get 160 shaves. I had the opportunity to test the Gillette Proglide razor blades and share my opinion. I specifically used the razor to shave my legs, underarms, and bikini line. Because the razor blades contain 5 sharp, thin blades, this ensures an extra close shave. With every shave, each hair is shaved practically 5 times, keeping the skin smooth and stubble-free for longer. This also means you need less force to achieve the desired close shave. I particularly appreciate the lubrication strip, which allows the razor to glide smoothly over the skin (even without using shaving foam or gel) and protects it from razor burn. The razor head flexibly moves in two directions, perfectly following the contours of your body. This also makes it easy to reach and shave those hard-to-reach areas. I didn't need the precision trimmer on the back myself, but for men, it allows you to shave those hard-to-reach areas, like under your nose or near your sideburns. Personally, I don't necessarily need the five blades for good results, as I naturally have very little hair.
However, I did find the shaving performance very positive compared to the women's razors I use. For example, I experienced less stubble. So I can easily imagine men with coarse, thick, or abundant hair would really appreciate this razor!
