The device was a bit larger than I expected, but once installed, it's not in the way. It works easily; the app is self-explanatory. It recognizes the surface and adjusts its suction accordingly. You can set it to clean carpets first. Even though it retracts its mop when it touches carpet, you can be sure it won't get wet.

The mopping function is especially useful for mopping up things. For a robot, it has a really good mopping function, but no robot can match the speed and ease of my Philips One Up mop. It is, however, very nice that the robot keeps up with the dust well, even when I'm not home.

I had very high expectations for this robot because it is marketed as a premium AI-powered vacuum with intelligent obstacle avoidance, but unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing.

The biggest issue is the obstacle detection. The robot constantly drives over cables instead of avoiding them. It repeatedly gets tangled in power cords, mop pads get stuck, and it aggressively collides with walls, corners, furniture legs, and chair bases.

This is not just a minor inconvenience anymore — the robot actually caused damage inside my home:

it pulled cables and caused my computer equipment to fall,
it damaged the power cable of my electric sofa,
and it keeps hitting furniture with significant force.

Some cables in a normal house simply cannot be removed every single time before cleaning, especially power cables for electric furniture. A robot advertised as “AI intelligent navigation” should absolutely be capable of recognizing and avoiding these kinds of obstacles.

It also fails to detect relatively high furniture legs (around 5 cm), trying to climb on them and making loud impacts repeatedly.

I contacted MOVA support multiple times with detailed explanations and evidence, but most responses felt like generic scripts telling me to clean sensors or remove cables, despite the robot being almost new and the sensors perfectly clean.

Coolblue only offered refund/return, but honestly another identical unit would probably behave exactly the same way, so this does not really solve the issue.

For a premium-priced robot, I expected far more reliable navigation and obstacle avoidance. At the moment, I cannot recommend this product, especially for homes with cables, electric furniture, or delicate equipment.

It does what I bought it for. The first time I turned it on, it first scanned the rooms. And when it really had to get to work, it knew exactly how big the rooms were. It vacuums and mops laminate, and with carpet, the mop pads lift and it vacuums harder.
