I find this coffee machine easy to use. The double boiler and the clear touchscreen make brewing coffee quick and convenient. However, the machine does take up a lot of space on my countertop.

Preparing for Use

The touchscreen display helps me get started right away. Clear images show me what I need to do. This makes it easy to set up the machine and quickly find the right grind size. As a result, my first espresso tasted great. Afterward, I further customized the machine to my liking, for example, by making the grind a little finer and the coffee strength a bit higher.

Making a Fast Cappuccino

Thanks to the double boiler, I can brew coffee and froth milk simultaneously. This saves time, especially when making several cappuccinos in a row. This way, my coffee is ready faster, which is handy when I have guests over.

Automatic Tamper

The automatic tamper is handy. Proper tamping is important for the flavor, but can be tricky. The machine does this automatically, delivering a consistent result. This makes it easy, even for less experienced coffee makers.

Touchscreen display

I choose my coffee on the screen. I can also specify the milk I use. I often drink oat milk. The machine adjusts the temperature and frothing level accordingly. This gives a better result in terms of taste and texture.

Getting started yourself

With the manual mode, I control the pressure and frothing. I like that when I really want to play barista. It gives me control and allows me to experiment.

Operate with the app

With the app, I can turn the machine on before I get home. I also save my settings. This way, I don't have to set everything up every time and can make my favorite recipe at the touch of a button.

For whom and for whom

This machine is suitable for coffee lovers who want convenience and control. If you have limited space or mainly drink quick filter coffee, a smaller machine is more convenient. If you want to make coffee at home like you would in a coffee shop, this is a good choice.

A very nice and beautiful machine. It is really pricey, but we think it is worth it. Thanks to the dual boiler system, you can brew coffee and froth milk simultaneously, which really saves a lot of time. Many coffee choices in automatic mode.

It is nice that you can make a quick coffee when you are short on time (auto mode) and that you can do everything manually like a real barista. We chose this machine for its speed during, for example, work-from-home days, and the extensive options for brewing the perfect coffees.

A disadvantage is that this machine sometimes does not "tamp" properly with coarser grind sizes and the single basket. This can be solved by buying different baskets, but make sure they have a flat bottom (due to the tamping system of this Sage).

All in all, we are very happy with the machine!
