The Dreame V20 Pro is a luxurious and sturdy stick vacuum that cleans thoroughly and cleverly handles edges. However, I sometimes hear it working harder when it automatically activates extra suction.
Design & Complete Package
I have a good first impression when I unpack the vacuum. The V20 Pro looks luxurious, feels sturdy, and fits comfortably in the hand. Inside the box, I also find a complete accessory package. I first grab the included holder, which I simply place anywhere in my house near an outlet. This means I don't have to drill a hole in the wall. Conveniently, I can also store my accessories directly in the base station. This keeps everything organized.
Display & Controls
As soon as I turn on the vacuum, the screen immediately catches my eye. It's clear and shows just the information I need. For example, I can easily read the battery level. The design also looks neat. While vacuuming, I can easily move the V20 Pro in front of me. The light on the floor brush makes dirt more visible, for example, under the table. This way, I don't miss any crumbs. The flexible handle is extra handy here. Thanks to the bend in the handle, I can easily reach under low furniture without bending over.
Performance & Attachments
The stick vacuum simply cleans very well. Crumbs disappear immediately on hard floors, and on carpet, I notice the powerful suction. I can switch between the different attachments at the touch of a button. I use the combination brush for hard floors and carpet, and the soft floor brush for delicate floors. I find the mini turbo brush a nice extra for furniture and pet hair. It really saves me a lot of hassle.
Smart Features & Edges
The vacuum automatically adjusts the suction power when it detects stubborn dirt. I can hear it switch on. This sometimes makes the vacuum a bit louder, but it works well. I also find it convenient that I don't have to think about the settings myself. A clever extra is that the vacuum measures the distance to the wall. If I vacuum close to a skirting board, a small arm folds down. This picks up dirt along the edge and pulls it into the nozzle. This prevents crumbs from sticking to the baseboards, allowing me to clean thoroughly everywhere.
