Jabra Evolve2 40 SE MS Stereo USB-A/C

To be heard better when calling or Zooming hands-free with a hearing-impaired family member, I needed a wired USB office headset. That way, my voice reaches the other person with the clearest clarity. This phone is perfect for that.

The microphonics (which makes it sound horribly loud when the wire rubs against your sweater) can thankfully be fixed by first pulling the wire back over your ear. Or tying it in a knot. Or buying a clip. Or all three. ;-) The wire isn't very long.

I'd been looking for a headset that really effectively cancels out background noise while I'm typing notes during an interview. This is the first headset that does that. Both the other person's voice and my own sound great and are of incredibly good quality.

I deliberately didn't choose a wireless headset because I like that you can easily plug it in and it works immediately. Charging is also not necessary. For quick conversations, I find my earbuds more comfortable, but when I have an interview, I always wear this headset. It's great that it also works with my phone thanks to the USB-C connection.

The only downside I can think of is that your ears get quite warm after wearing this thing for an hour and a half. But I'm happy to accept that, considering all the advantages.
