According to our barbecue expert
Stable temperature: this kamado keeps the temperature stable, so large cuts of meat cook slowly and evenly.
For large dishes: you can grill large cuts of meat or multiple dishes at the same time thanks to the large cooking surface.
See the temperature with the lid closed: you can see how hot it is inside the barbecue via the lid thermometer without opening the lid.
Takes up a lot of space: the barbecue takes up a lot of space on your balcony or patio because of its large cooking surface.
No smart features: without smart features, you always have to stay by the barbecue while you're grilling.
Feels very high quality and heavy, great!

Great BBQ. I had one a few years ago too, sold it, and bought a Masterbuilt 800 in return. But the whole BBQing feeling was gone. So this summer I'm back with the Grill Guru. By the way, I also wanted to give a plus to Coolblue's customer service. There was one small cooking defect in the lid. Without questions or photos, I received a new BBQ with just two clicks, and the used one was returned without a word. Fantastic!

Please note, this is a fully stripped down Grill Guru. There is no rain cover, no plate setter, no Flip Grid grille and not even an axle lever, while these are the standard accessories according to the Grill Guru catalog. The product description states that Indirect grilling is possible with a green check mark, but this means that you will have to purchase a plate setter separately.
