I scanned 900 photos in a very short time, and they all look equally good. I did use a denoise filter to make them look better, though.

Scanning is very smooth with various formats, including older black and white formats. Automatic scan enhancement works properly, adding more clarity and sharpness. JPEG scans are of sufficient quality and also save a significant amount of storage capacity. Purchased primarily for scanning all family photos, but I also see possibilities for scanning various books and documents to PDF with a search function. This would allow me to get rid of a lot of paperwork. The scanner is not cheap, but it delivers quality and, in my opinion, is worth the money.
