I bought the original cover because it fits perfectly, is thin, and made of a very sturdy material. The drop protection might be a bit less than plastic covers. It's quite expensive, though. My previous cover for my OnePlus 13 was made of the same material, but generally better (better grip and slightly better drop protection).

I wasn't expected this super back cover actually. It is so good in many ways. Since I don't like to use my phones with cases, if i need one, i usually go with the thinnest option possible. Oppo X9 doesn't have built-in magnets for magsafe accessories, only option is to use a case with magnet. And unfortunately there are not so many options for the Oppo X9. Except this official one. This is the best case i ever used in a phone. It is slimmer than the Slimcase® of my S25 Ultra case yet has 4 times stronger magnets than that. The magnet holds extremely well. I'm not having panic attacks while driving anymore. I see that It is impossible that the phone is gonna drop from that magnetic car holder.
Since I only use the case for the magsafe compatibility I actually don't look for proper protection (even though the case does it very well too with its very strong material). I didn't like the silver camera protection part. However, they designed it very cleverly: A gentle push and it clicks out easily. If you want to put it back just click it in.
Only issue I had was the sharp bottom edge of the case. When you hold the bottom of the phone with your pinky, it was being uncomfortable after a few mins. I used a super fine sand paper and slide it on the bottom edge just 2-3 times. Now it is super smooth and comfortable to hold.
10/10 product. But I bought it half price (a brand new condition second chance product without the box). Otherwise it is expensive. Still deserves its money imho.
