JBL Tune 530BT Black

It's exactly what it's meant for. What a wonderfully basic, comfortable pair of headphones. When it arrived, I thought, "Oh, not that big." But it's just perfect. It fits me, my husband, and my oldest daughter uses it a lot too. We're also thrilled that it has fast Bluetooth connectivity.

Because I can't get used to in-ear headphones, these JBLs caught my eye. I've had similar headphones before, but that was years ago. The ear cushions were already starting to crumble. Time for a new one!

Pairing is quite simple. You press and hold the button on the headphones, and the light starts flashing. Bluetooth is activated, and your phone immediately recognizes the device and asks if you want to pair it.

Once I connected to my phone, I was pleasantly surprised. You can add these JBLs to "Find Me" on Android. A nice feature that's often overlooked in reviews. I sometimes leave my stuff lying around, so this is perfect for me.

Another notable feature is the lack of a charger. I think that's a good thing. Thanks to the EU, we have standard chargers. Everyone has a USB-C charger at home, so that saves unnecessary use of resources and reduces the impact on the environment. Great! It'll probably also make a difference in the price (although I haven't researched that).

Now for the most important thing: the sound! I find the sound very "full" without excessive bass. There's no noise canceling, but you can't expect that for this price. The headphones do provide a complete seal, so they're less suitable if you need to pay attention to traffic.

If you download the app, you can personalize the sound. You can even configure the buttons yourself. Voice-aware is a new feature for me. Without this feature, you can't hear yourself during a phone call. With this feature, you can hear yourself talking. That's very convenient.

They do fit snugly on the head. Of course, they shouldn't be too loose, but in terms of comfort, they score just adequate for me.
