Optoma Photon Beam PK52
anything for a smile
A fine projector with good image quality. The picture is bright and the colors look good. The menu structure is amateurish. Buttons on the remote control do not lead directly to what you want to do. If you press the light on the remote, it takes at least another 6 clicks to finally select the brightness. If you want to select the corners of the screen to align the image, the displayed square does not correspond to where you place the corners, and the image is off by half a meter. Translations are inaccurate; if you want to select "back" because you have set it to Dutch, you have to select the word "achter" instead of "terug". The power cable is a bit short, especially considering the heavy block attached to it. The advantage, however, is that the projector does not become a heater in the summer.
