I find the shaver pleasant to use. It shaves quickly and comfortably, and it requires almost no maintenance. The cleaning station does take up some extra space on my bathroom shelf, though.

Smooth results

The shaver shaves smoothly and smoothly, even with thicker hairs. The flexible blades conform well to my facial contours, especially around my jawline. This gives an even shave without having to press too hard. The turbo mode is helpful if I haven't shaved for a while, as it speeds things up a bit.

Dry and wet shaving I usually use the shaver dry. It feels comfortable and doesn't irritate my skin. However, it's handy that I can also use it wet, for example, with shaving foam or gel in the shower. This gives me more options, depending on my preference.

Effortless cleaning

What I immediately found useful is that I don't have to remove the shaving head when cleaning it. I simply place the shaver in the cleaning station. The liquid removes dirt and bacteria more effectively than water, keeping the device clean and fresh. This means I hardly have to worry about it. The cleaning station is quite large, though, and therefore takes up some space in my bathroom.

Easy to use

The shaver also comes with a handy precision trimmer attachment. I use this attachment for my sideburns and sometimes even for my eyebrows. The battery lasts a long time, and a 5-minute charge gives me enough power for one shave. That's handy when I'm in a hurry.

After shaving, it's easy to rinse under the tap. Then, it can be placed in the included holder with special cleaning fluid for a thorough clean, giving you a fresh feeling every day. My expectations were completely met!

When using the Braun Series 5 shaver, I noticed how comfortable it is to hold. During testing, I also noticed that the blades follow the contours of my face well and provide a smooth shave without much irritation.
