The curling iron created beautiful waves, but did not curl my hair. For this price, I expect it to work perfectly. I tried the tightest curl setting, but still only got waves in my hair. I don't think it does more than other hair curlers. The instructions are not very clear. It takes some time to understand how to hold the product and adjust the settings.

This styler is truly different from a ‘regular’ straightener.

It works really fast, curls turn out beautiful and firm, and they really do last much longer. The beeps indicate very clearly when a section is ready, and then you suddenly have a beautiful curl in your hair very easily. The device also heats up nice and fast, so you can style your locks ‘quickly’. The only downside is that it cannot be used on wet hair.

My 6-year-old daughter also thinks this device is fantastic! It is much easier to use on her, because it is much easier to get a precise section into the styler on someone else.

In terms of safety, pay close attention: the top of the styler gets very hot, so be careful not to burn yourself!

Finally: unboxing the styler is a treat: a beautiful box, clear packaging, and you can feel that this is a real luxury product. You are really paying for quality!

I have used the Philips WavePro Styler 9000 for three weeks. It does indeed give my hair more volume and is easy to use, but unfortunately, the curls don't last long. Even if you change the direction of the curl with the button, the hair often falls the way it wants to. It is fine for a nice, natural effect, but I don't really find it necessary if you already have a straightener that can create curls. For the price, I expected more.
