Miele Triflex HX3 Plus

After using a Dyson V12 Cat and Dog for several years, it was time to replace it; it had to be one that produced less noise and was more robust. Although there were (virtually) no test results and/or reviews to read yet, the choice fell on the Miele Triflex HX3 Plus. We have had great experiences with Miele, so in terms of durability, it should be fine, and... indeed! What a relief compared to the Dyson; the Miele feels solid, and you can immediately see that the quality is many times better. All parts, such as tubes and nozzles, are easy to connect and fit together seamlessly and without play—what a relief compared to the Dyson! We chose this model because of the extra battery; mandatory coffee breaks (because the battery is dead) were fine, but finishing the job first suits us better. Even though the battery is very easy to swap, we can now clean the entire house on one battery, empty the bin occasionally, and keep going. What stands out immediately is the quiet operation, many times quieter than the Dyson, with no annoying high-pitched whistling or rattling of parts. The suction power is excellent on floor tiles (as is the case with us), rugs, doormats, and laminate; the suction power adjusts automatically—if desired—and delivers a beautiful/perfect result. Dog hair (we have a Golden Retriever) is also no problem at all; the results are amazing and, once again, better than those of the Dyson.

Too bad, I had expected it to be easy to convert the stick vacuum into a handheld vacuum from Miekw... but it's impossible... removing the battery is also a nightmare.

It is handy that it has a parking position, though.

Good vacuum cleaner, however, converting it to a handheld vacuum or removing the battery is stiff. Neither I nor even my husband could barely manage it.
