HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro 44mm Orange

The Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro is a lightweight smartwatch with many sports and health features. The watch has a long battery life and easily lasts a whole week. The bezel is made of titanium and the screen of sapphire glass, so it can take a bump. I do not download music from Spotify on the watch.

Thin, but sturdily built The watch is thin and fits well on my wrist. The bezel is made of sturdy titanium and can therefore take a knock. I have the version with a striking orange nylon strap. The watch strap fits comfortably and I hardly feel it.

Large and bright screen The Fit 5 Pro is of average size, but due to the thin bezels, the 44-millimeter screen looks larger. I have a wrist circumference of 17 centimeters, so the watch fits well. The screen is bright and colorful. As a result, everything remains clearly visible even on a sunny day. That is nice while exercising. I can find all my data on both the smartwatch and in the Huawei Health app. For example, the watch measures my sleep every day. The next day, I can see how much I slept and receive tips after a bad night's sleep. Additionally, the watch constantly measures my heart rate, and I use it to take ECGs. This gives me good insight into my fitness level. Thanks to the improved sensors, all measurements are more accurate than with the Fit 4 Pro.

Extensive sports measurements and insight into recovery

I used the watch while cycling. During my ride, I could clearly see how fast I was going, how long I cycled, and the wattage I generated. After cycling, I found my ride in the app. There, I saw my route and detailed information about my heart rate, among other things. The Fit 5 Pro also provides insight into my training load and how I recover. This way, I know exactly when I am fit again and therefore not overtraining myself.

Long battery life of at least one week I wore the watch for a week. The always-on display was not turned on at that time. During that week, I exercised with it for a total of 2 hours with the GPS on. The battery did drain faster during those moments. After a week, the battery was still not empty, and I could certainly use it for another day.

After trying two other watches due to a high heart rate, this third choice, the Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro, works very accurately. I do turn on a sports mode for heart rate accuracy, and that works very well. Every time I had to return the other watches, I received my money back promptly and properly. Coolblue customer service helped me well with the selection and advice. I am very satisfied so far.

After 11 years, my Samsung Gear S2 could no longer last longer than three-quarters of a day on a single charge. In the past, that was 4 days. Because this watch could not be connected to my new Samsung S26 Ultra, I started looking for a new smartwatch.

I ended up with this Huawei because of the incredibly long battery life combined with an affordable price. If you compare both to Samsung smartwatches, this one stands out very positively. I have had it for 8 days now and charged it immediately after receiving it. Now, 8 days later, the battery percentage is still at 53%!

The biggest downside, in my opinion, is that you have to pay 5 euros per month for the VIP options. Personally, I don't think it's worth it. Fortunately, the first month is free.
