SANDISK Extreme Portable SSD V3 2TB

The SANDISK Extreme Portable SSD V3 is a fast SSD for on the go. Thanks to its small size and the ring on the SSD, I take it with me easily. I worry less about damage due to the protection against dust, drops, and splashes. The SSD has high maximum speeds, but only achieves these in devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 2x2.

Convenient for on the go The Extreme Portable SSD V3 is even lighter and smaller than I had expected. This makes it easy to carry in my trouser or jacket pocket. The SSD also has a ring on the top right, which I use to attach it to my bag or keychain. This way, I take my files with me everywhere, for example to the office. All this makes the Extreme Portable one of the handiest SSDs for on the go that I have seen.

Short load times The Extreme Portable V3 achieves speeds of up to 2,000 megabytes per second. This makes it almost twice as fast as its predecessor, the V2. I notice the high speeds especially when opening or transferring files, for example after connecting it to my laptop. Please note that this SSD has the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 version. Not every device supports this, such as many smartphones and MacBooks. The SSD will still work fine if your device does not support USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, but the speed is often slightly less than 2,000 MB/s. This depends on the USB version of your device.

Good protection This SANDISK SSD has been tested according to the IP65 standard. This means that the SSD is resistant to dust and splashes. It also has drop protection up to a height of 3 meters. So I am not worried about losing my data if I drop the SSD out of my pocket.
