Hisense RGB Mini LED 75" UR9S (2026)

I find the Hisense RGB Mini-LED UR9S to be a unique TV. For instance, the TV features a colorful RGB Mini-LED screen with surprisingly deep black levels. I also appreciate the Glare Free anti-reflective coating that reduces reflections. This is a nice addition, given that the television's viewing angle is quite narrow. The most surprising feature is the USB-C DisplayPort, which allows you to connect a laptop or PC. Unfortunately, the TV only has 3 HDMI 2.1 connections.

Realistic RGB Mini-LED screen Like many other new televisions from 2026, the UR9S features an RGB Mini-LED screen. Therefore, the LED lights behind the screen emit colored light instead of white light. They consist of 3 smaller particles for red, green, and blue light. Because of this, I find the colors very realistic. A sunset in a nature documentary, for example, looks lifelike. At the same time, I am impressed by the black levels. For instance, the UR9S performs well when I watch an OLED demo. However, I only see an unrealistic gray glow around bright, white light sources. Is it a colored light source, such as a campfire? Then I hardly see this blooming, and the black levels come close to what an OLED TV can achieve.

No reflections thanks to Glare Free anti-reflective coating The UR9S features a Glare Free anti-reflective coating over the screen. This is a special coating that gives the screen a matte appearance and counteracts reflections. I find the coating attractive, and I clearly experience fewer reflections. This is particularly noticeable with dark images, when there are few light sources that would hide reflections. I do see reflections from a sharp angle, but I do not find them distracting. The Glare Free anti-reflective coating is therefore a good solution for the narrow viewing angle of the UR9S.

Unique USB-C DisplayPort for PC gaming A unique addition to the TV is the USB-C DisplayPort. Oddly enough, I find this on the left side of the TV, instead of near the HDMI connections. DisplayPort offers a higher refresh rate for gaming than an HDMI 2.1 connection, making it a great solution for PC gamers. You connect your gaming laptop or PC, utilize the television's high refresh rate, and always see the smoothest images. Unfortunately, the UR9S only has 3 HDMI 2.1 connections. This is one connection fewer than on most other new televisions from 2026.

For gaming, I am very satisfied with my Hisense 65 RGB MiniLED. Fast movements are displayed smoothly and the image remains sharp without freezing. The vibrant colors make playing even more enjoyable. The AI automatically adjusts the image, which also works well for movies and series. Watching during the day is also excellent, even with sunlight on the screen. Dark scenes remain easy to follow. The built-in 4.1.2 surround sound is convincing, although it does make the television slightly thicker. My soundbar was recognized immediately via HDMI ARC. With the streaming apps included, this sleek television is a daily pleasure for me to use.

A great television with many customizable sound and picture options.

The sound from this television particularly impresses me. I have disconnected all external audio equipment and listen solely through the television. Listening to Spotify this way is also great. The volume level is impressive as well. There are also many options for picture settings; I am still playing around with these a bit. My only downside to this television is that during football, I saw green, blurry spots on the grass while the rest was razor-sharp (the picture setting was on Sport, specifically for football).

In terms of gaming, it is absolutely top-notch! You definitely notice the high refresh rate. The Game Bar is also a nice addition. The standby options are also nice; for example, you can set paintings as the background.
