Hisense RGB Mini LED 75" UR9S (2026)

I find the Hisense RGB Mini-LED UR9S to be a unique TV. For instance, the TV features a colorful RGB Mini-LED screen with surprisingly deep black levels. I also appreciate the Glare Free anti-reflective coating that reduces reflections. This is a nice addition, given that the television's viewing angle is quite narrow. The most surprising feature is the USB-C DisplayPort, which allows you to connect a laptop or PC. Unfortunately, the TV only has 3 HDMI 2.1 connections.

Realistic RGB Mini-LED screen Like many other new televisions from 2026, the UR9S features an RGB Mini-LED screen. Therefore, the LED lights behind the screen emit colored light instead of white light. They consist of 3 smaller particles for red, green, and blue light. Because of this, I find the colors very realistic. A sunset in a nature documentary, for example, looks lifelike. At the same time, I am impressed by the black levels. For instance, the UR9S performs well when I watch an OLED demo. However, I only see an unrealistic gray glow around bright, white light sources. Is it a colored light source, such as a campfire? Then I hardly see this blooming, and the black levels come close to what an OLED TV can achieve.

No reflections thanks to Glare Free anti-reflective coating The UR9S features a Glare Free anti-reflective coating over the screen. This is a special coating that gives the screen a matte appearance and counteracts reflections. I find the coating attractive, and I clearly experience fewer reflections. This is particularly noticeable with dark images, when there are few light sources that would hide reflections. I do see reflections from a sharp angle, but I do not find them distracting. The Glare Free anti-reflective coating is therefore a good solution for the narrow viewing angle of the UR9S.

Unique USB-C DisplayPort for PC gaming A unique addition to the TV is the USB-C DisplayPort. Oddly enough, I find this on the left side of the TV, instead of near the HDMI connections. DisplayPort offers a higher refresh rate for gaming than an HDMI 2.1 connection, making it a great solution for PC gamers. You connect your gaming laptop or PC, utilize the television's high refresh rate, and always see the smoothest images. Unfortunately, the UR9S only has 3 HDMI 2.1 connections. This is one connection fewer than on most other new televisions from 2026.
