OPPO Reno16 Pro 512GB White 5G

I tried out the OPPO Reno16 Pro for a few days and am particularly impressed by the cameras and battery life. Furthermore, it charges quickly and I use the handy slider on the side, but I find it difficult to use the screen with one hand.

Takes razor-sharp photos and videos With the 3 cameras on the back, I take razor-sharp photos. My videos also look sharp and smooth. I find the wide-angle and telephoto lenses particularly handy. With the wide-angle lens, I can easily take a photo of a large building. I photograph from closer up because the wide-angle lens zooms out. With the telephoto lens, I zoom in from a distance. I take photos from afar where I zoom in 3.5 times, without my photos becoming less sharp.

Battery lasts all day The Reno16 Pro has a large 6,000 mAh battery, and I notice that. I easily make it to the end of the day, even if I use my smartphone a bit more. For example, if I listen to music on Spotify and send a message every now and then, I don't need to charge my smartphone at all during the day. Sometimes I also play games or watch a lot of videos on YouTube. In that case, I have to plug the Reno16 Pro into the charger in the evening.

Fast charging with the right charger

Fortunately, the battery is fully charged again quickly with the right fast charger. Charging is fastest with an 80-watt SUPERVOOC fast charger from OPPO (or OnePlus). I charge the battery to about 80 percent within 30 minutes. So, I don't have to leave this OPPO smartphone on the charger all night. Even if I charge it briefly in the morning before leaving the house, I have enough battery to get through the day.

Handy slider on the side

There is a handy slider on the side of the Reno16 Pro. In the settings, I can decide for myself what to use this button for. For example, I can use it to take screenshots or open the camera app. Personally, I find the slider particularly handy for adjusting the sound mode. This allows me to quickly put my smartphone on silent without having to unlock the screen.

Difficult to operate with one hand The Reno16 Pro has a large 6.83-inch screen. I have plenty of space on it to play games or watch videos. However, I do notice that it is quite difficult to reach the corners of the screen when using one hand. Therefore, most people will need two hands to operate this smartphone.
