According to our automatic feeder expert
Because you set the portion size for each meal, every feeding gives exactly the right amount of food.
In the app, you can adjust the feeding times and portions remotely, which is useful when you're not at home.
This feeder doesn't have a built-in camera that lets you watch your pet on your smartphone.
As far as I'm concerned, this is the ideal automatic feeder. Setting it up is simple, and you can schedule many different feeding times. The feeder also handles larger kibble without any problem.
It holds slightly less food than some other models, but for a single cat, that is not a problem in my opinion.
And what I personally see as a major advantage: the feeder cannot be connected to an app. Nowadays, it sometimes seems like absolutely everything requires an app, whereas that is exactly what I don't want. This feeder simply does what it's supposed to do, without you having to open another app or be busy on your phone. That saves screen time.
