Marshall Bromley 150

The Marshall Bromley 150 delivers powerful sound and creates atmosphere with its built-in lights. The design makes for a stylish addition to any drinks gathering or party. The high tones sound a bit dull if I don't turn the treble to maximum.

Powerful sound The speaker delivers powerful sound. I turn the volume to three-quarters and I can hear the music loud in my kitchen and living room. Because of this, I use the speaker during drinks gatherings, but also during parties. There are 3 knobs on the side of the speaker that I use to adjust the volume, bass, and treble. Changing the bass and treble makes a big difference to the sound. Personally, I find the music sounds its best when I set the treble to maximum and turn the bass down to a third. With this setting, I hear the high tones of vocals and instruments clearly. Additionally, I hear the beat of the bass tones clearly, but it doesn't overpower. For techno or house music, I turn the bass up a bit so that the beat really hits home. If I turn the treble down, I notice that voices and instruments sound a bit dull.

Atmospheric lighting The speaker has 3 different light modes. I switch between them using the button on the side. In mode 1, the lights move slowly and create a calm atmosphere. I find this mode beautiful during a dinner. In mode 3, the lights move along vigorously to the beat of the music. I use this mode during a house party. The lights are clearly visible, but not bright enough to illuminate the room.

Stylish design The design of the speaker is a stylish addition to any get-together or party. The gold details, the rotary knobs, and the red accents give it a classic look. Furthermore, the speaker is sturdy and simple. As a result, it feels like it can take a knock. There is a handle on the top that I use to lift the speaker.
