Extraction rate

How do you choose the right extraction rate?

To keep all the cooking odors out of your kitchen, it's important to choose the right extraction rate. The maximum extraction rate is in cubic meters. How much your range hood needs depends on the size of your kitchen. If you have an open kitchen, you need an extraction rate of at least 600m3. For a small kitchen, a range hood of up to 300m3 is enough.

Range hood with or without exhaustion

Which type of exhaust system do I need?

There are 2 types of exhaust systems: an exhaust system and recirculation. With a range hood with an exhaust system, cooking fumes are directed outside through an exhaust system. With recirculation, you have a range hood without an exhaust. The range hood sucks up the air, filters it, and blows it back into your kitchen. You need special carbon filters that purify the air for this. You have to replace these about every 6 months.

Energy-efficient range hood

Save energy

Your range hood isn't on all day, but it does use a lot of energy while in use. With an energy-efficient model, you can save on your energy costs. Your energy costs are lower and it's good for the environment.
