The Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 are great earbuds for exercising thanks to their design. They also provide clear sound. Unfortunately, the DualPitch technology means that I can't hear traffic as well.
Sound quality
The first thing I notice when I start using the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 is that the sound quality of these earbuds is high. This is due to the DualPitch technology. This means that the sound comes into my ears via the cheekbones and speakers on the side of the contact points thanks to bone conduction. This makes the sound sound balanced and clear. This technology also makes the low tones come through clearly. With previous generations of bone conduction earbuds, I missed these low tones, which makes these Shokz earbuds with DualPitch technology a good upgrade. Unfortunately, this does mean that I can't always hear my surroundings well, which can lead to dangerous situations in traffic. That's why I recommend not turning up the music too loud when exercising with these earbuds.
Design
At the back, I have space between the neckband and the back of my head. This allows me to move my head freely. The ear hooks ensure that the contact points rest firmly on my cheekbones. This means that the earbuds hardly fall out when I exert myself, for example while cycling or running. Thanks to the water-resistant design, I also don't have to worry about using them in the rain, they can withstand that.
Battery life
The battery life is 12 hours, which is long enough to use these earbuds during intense workouts. If the earbuds do run out of power, I can fully charge them again in 1 hour.
