The operating system for these smart functions varies by brand. The better-known platforms are Tizen by Samsung, Android by Sony and Philips, WebOS by LG, and my Home Screen by Panasonic. Every platform has advantages and disadvantages. Other TV manufacturers and smaller TVs usually have their own smart TV operating system.
