Clear images with strong contrast
I immediately notice that this TV shows razor-sharp and colorful images. The Bravia XR processor makes images with a lower resolution sharper. When I watch a film in full HD, the images still look detailed. This means that I always look at the best image quality. The mini-LED screen has thousands of small LED lights that light up or dim individually. For example, a light part of the image is very bright and a dark part of the image is very dark. Black is just not as deep black as with an OLED television, which sometimes makes the images less compelling. When I watch a sports match, I notice that the movements of the athletes look very smooth. This is due to the high refresh rate of 100 hertz. As a result, movements almost never falter and I lose sight of the ball less quickly.
Wide colour range
Thanks to the QLED image technology, I find the colour range of this TV very wide. For example, I like to watch nature documentaries on this TV. The different colours of the jungle really come into their own here. This makes me feel like I'm completely in the jungle.
Wide viewing angle
Thanks to the anti-reflection layer in the screen, I can still enjoy bright, clear images in a sun-drenched room. With TVs without an anti-reflection layer, images are difficult to see when a lamp or the sun shines on the screen. With the Bravia 9, I hardly see any reflections on the screen on a sunny day, even in dark scenes. The anti-reflection layer also ensures a wide viewing angle, so you can enjoy clear and colourful images even when you are sitting diagonally in front of the TV.
Good sound
I find the sound of this television quite powerful. Thanks to Dolby Atmos, I can hear the sound from all sides, which makes me feel like I am completely in a film. This TV does not have a built-in subwoofer or soundbar. This means I hear very little low bass tones, which makes the sound less full.
