You switch on the Dyson V12 with an on/off button that you don't have to hold down all the time. The V15 has a suction power of 240 airwatts. The V12's power is 150 airwatts, which means you vacuum less thoroughly. In addition, the V15 is a bit larger. The dust collector also collects more dust, meaning you have to empty it less often.
