Choose built-in fridge
Answer these questions and find the best built-in fridge for you.
- Which niche height do you need?
- Which hinge system do you need?
- Do you want to store food longer with a freezer compartment?
Which niche height do you need?
How high the niche height of your built-in fridge has to be depends on the space you have at home. Measure the niche height in your kitchen well, so you're sure that the built-in fridge fits. Also check if the fridge fits through the door opening and hallway to get to your kitchen or a different spot.
Which hinge system do you need?
The hinge system of your built-in fridge determines how the front panel is attached to the fridge door. There are 2 hinge systems: sliding door and door-on-door. With a sliding door, there's an extra hinge in between and the door slides open via ducts. With a door-on-door system, the front panel is directly attached to your fridge. Which type you need depends on the hinge system that you have right now. Always choose the same system.

Do you want to store your food longer with a freezer compartment?
With a freezer compartment, you can freeze groceries. This way, you can store them longer and you have to throw them away less quickly. This allows you to eat leftovers even a few weeks afterward and you don't waste food. Without freezer compartment, you don't have space for yesterday's mean and you can store your food less long.
