Dyson Pure Cool Me

You can easily adjust the blowing direction by moving the round surface.
You'll receive a notifcation when you need replace the filters.
You can use it both as an air purifier and as a fan.
It easily fits on your desk thanks to the compact size.

The fan blows out clean air, but it doesn't purify the entire room.
Fans circulate the air, but they don't cool the air.
You can't connect the air-purifying fan to the Dyson Link App.

The first personal air-purifying fan has finally been launched: the Dyson Pure Cool Me. This air purifier ensures that you only breathe in clean air when you point the fan at you. When I saw the box on my desk, I felt like a little child receiving a birthday present. Of course, I opened it immediately. The box contains:

Dyson Pure Me
Remote control
Power cable
Manual

At first, I thought the filter was missing, but Dyson has already placed it in the device for you.

First impressions

I unpack the Pure Cool Me and put it directly on my desk. The air purifier is small in size, so it fits easily. You can move the round surface of the fan up and down to adjust the air flow. I expected that you could move the round surface in all directions, but unfortunately that isn't possible. The Pure Cool Me does have an oscillation function, so it can rotate.

Clean air around the desk

With the air-purifying fan on my desk, I only breathe in clean air during work. The air purifier doesn't clean all the air in the room though. To breathe in the clean air, you have to direct the air flow at you. With the Pure Me on my desk, I have the feeling that I don't have to sneeze as often. Great! My eyes are much less teary and I can focus on my work better.

Silent in lowest settings

The air-purifying fan has been especially developed to place on a desk or table, so the sound is very important. In settings 1 to 5, the air purifier makes little noise. This means it's a great fan for on your desk or bedside table. From setting 6 onward, I started to really notice the sound, but there was also a strong wind coming from the fan.
