First impression

What stands out right away, is the larger outer screen of the Flip 7 FE. I can read notification quickly and take selfies without opening the phone. The device feels sturdy and reliable. Opening and closing feels smooth, just like previous models. Note: a charger isn't included in the box, you have to order it separately.

Effortless multitasking

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is surprisingly fast. Apps start quickly and I can smoothly switch between WhatsApp and Spotify, for example. Everything also keeps running smoothly during multitasking. I had multiple apps open during testing, and the device kept responding quickly.

Surprising cameras

With the camera, I quickly take a selfie via the outer screen. I see myself right way, so you don't have to open the device. Also useful: I half open it on the table and use my hand as a trigger. That way, I easily take a group photo without a timer.

Large and usable outer screen

The useful 3.4-inch outer screen is just as large as that of the Flip 6. That way, I can read notifications more easily or I can quickly use a widget for music or the weather. You can still see the fold in the middle of the screen a bit, but this doesn't bother me during daily use.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is a comfortable Foldable for someone who doesn't want to pay too much. The device feels sturdy, opens and closes easily, and has a large and useful outer screen. The cameras are smart and easy to use. Due to the small size, it can be a bit less comfortably for long videos or games. For calling, texting, and nice photos, this device is a smart choice.
