Washing machine water supply

The supply or drain hose is leaking

Check if the inlet hose of the washing machine is properly secured on both sides and do the same for the connection of the drain hose. Now check both the supply hose and the drain hose for any damage. Is something broken? Replace the hose as soon as possible.

Washing machine drain

Drain pipe is leaking

Your washing machine leaks while it's pumping water. The drain hose may be placed too deep in the drain pipe. To collect water and dirt, place a bucket under the drain. Now make sure that the hose isn't deeper in the drain than 15 centimeters. With a support bracket, you can prevent the hose from going in too deep.

Washing machine door doesn't close properly

Door doesn't close properly

Is water leaking from the front of the door? There is a good chance that some laundry got stuck between the drum and the door. This will cause water to leak into the bottom drawer from the front. Turn off the washing machine, turn off the water supply, and unplug the power cord. Place a towel on the back of the washing machine, tilt the machine slightly backwards, and hold this position for 40 seconds. Lower the washing machine to the floor and reconnect it. Finally, take out the laundry that's stuck.

Unclog the washing machine drain

Drain clogged

If the drain is clogged, clean the trap. First place a bucket under the trap. Drain the water and dirt. Reconnect the trap. Now fill a bucket with boiling water and baking soda. Remove the drain hose from the drain and slowly pour the sparkling water into the drain using a funnel. Wait a few minutes and test to see if the drain is unclogged when you pour water into it. Is this not the case? Use a tension spring to pull through the blockage.

Does the water leak from the bottom of your washing machine? Check if the drain filter at the bottom right of the machine is properly closed. Open the hatch and tighten the filter. It's also possible that you're dealing with a leak inside the machine. A washing machine without a bottom leak sensor or overfill protection doesn't shut off the water supply automatically. Turn off the faucet and remove the plug from the socket. After, you can contact the manufacturer for help from a technician.
