How do you set up Devolo powerline adapters?

1. Plug the main adapter into an empty socket near your router.
2. Plug the network cable into a free network port on your router.
3. Plug the other end of the network cable into the main network port of the main adapter.

1. Plug the second adapter into a socket in the same room as the main adapter.
2. Wait until the home icon or light on the front lights up (about 45 seconds).
3. Does your powerline adapter have a button with a home icon? Press it and hold briefly.
4. Does your powerline adapter only have a light on the front? Press the right-side button briefly.
5. As soon as the adapters are connected, the lights on both adapters will light up. After they've been linked, you can easily plug the adapter into any other socket in the house.

When you add an extra adapter, you can repeat these steps.

Option 1: clone the data

1. Plug the WiFi adapter into a socket at most 10m away from your router.
2. After 45 seconds, press the home icon of the WiFi adapter.
3. Press the WPS button of your router within 2 minutes.
4. The WiFi data (name and password) is cloned automatically.
5. Plug the adapter into any socket in your home.
6. Doesn't this work? Enter the data manually via the Devolo app.

You can expand the Devolo powerline adapter network in your home with an extra adapter. You can set it up with the Devolo Cockpit app.

1. Connect the adapter and write down the serial number.
2. If the light flashes red, the adapter is active but hasn't been added to your network yet.
3. Press the button with the home icon or the button on the side and hold of one of your existing adapters for 2 seconds.
4. Do the same with the new powerline adapter. Note: this has to happen within 2 minutes.
5. The powerline adapter is added to your network if you see the light.
