You can connect a USB-C fast charging cable to a charger with a USB-C port and charge your smartphone or tablet extra fast. These separate chargers have a small, oval USB-C port instead of a large, rectangular USB-A port. More and more smartphones, including the iPhone 12 series and the Samsung S21 series, don't include a charger but a USB-C fast charging cable instead. This cable doesn't fit on old USB-A chargers, but only on USB-C chargers. All these chargers support fast charging via Power Delivery. Take a good look at the power that your smartphone or tablet can handle and choose a charger with at least that power. A higher power is also fine, it won't harm your battery.
