According to our headphones expert
Thanks to the semi-open design, the music sounds natural and spacious.
With the frequency range of 5 to 35,000Hz, the sound is detailed.
The headphones don't have any buttons to control your music.
The Beyerdynamic DT 880 Edition 32 Ohm are headphones with a semi-open design. Thanks to the semi-open structure, sound pressure doesn't build up in the ear cups. This way, you can be sure the music is reproduced accurately. Thanks to the frequency range of 5 to 35,000Hz, the lowest and highest tones of the music are reproduced clearly. The headphones have large, soft ear cups, so you can wear them comfortably for hours.
The sound and build quality are beyond expectations. This concerns the 32ohm version which is extremely suitable for portable use. If the cushions are broken, you can easily replace them. It comes with a decent long 3.5mm cable which I really like. The sound is neutral and clean. No tones that are excessively present, so no extreme boss either. Semi open design so that you are not completely cut off from the outside world. A plus for me. The 250 and 600 ohm versions must be used with a headphone amplifier, otherwise the volume will be much too low. This is not necessary with the 32 ohm version.

Very fine sound reproduction that does not become tiring, as with less good headsets. Feels light.

Bought to use with my new Cowon Plenue-J. Sound quality is good. I have not yet been able to play the headphones optimally, but the sound quality is quite acceptable right out of the box. Sounds better now than in the beginning. Wearing comfort is very good. I wear glasses, but you don't notice this even after listening for a long time.
