De Buyer Mineral B Frying Pan 24cm

After years of using Teflon-coated saucepans, I finally had the wisdom to buy a DeBuyer steel saucepan. The taste has been rediscovered again. Just great. Fried eggs taste like your mother or grandmother used to. Roasting meat is once again a feast. How stupid I have been to use a Teflon pan for years with all the disadvantages that entails.

I've had the pan for a good week. Have used them daily and what a pleasure. Everything can be baked in it. First gain some "experience"; by this I mean experiment a bit with the position of the electric fire. In addition, the underwear is not that bad: after use deglaze with water and rinse under hot water and dry and afterwards rub with a little oil and you're done. The only drawback could be the heaviness of the pan, but this is absolutely not a problem. One feels the quality. Finally, the pan is well worth its cost and not expensive.

Great pan. Nice and heavy (just over 2 KG) and easy to warm up and keep. The only minus point (if you have to name something) is that the logo is not made of metal but of some kind of rubber/plastic. I'm really curious what this will look like over time.

I haven't really been able to test durability yet (I've only had the thing for a month or so). But you can also do very little damage to this pan.
