According to our bread maker expert
Je bakt een brood tussen de 680 tot 900 gram voor 8 tot 14 sneden brood.
Stel 's avonds de timer in zodat je de volgende ochtend opstaat met vers brood.

The Princess Wake Up 152006 White features 15 different baking programs for making gluten-free bread, spelt bread, yogurt, and fresh jam yourself. You can set the timer via the display, and you'll wake up every morning to freshly-baked bread. The loaves are about 900g in weight, and yield 14 or more slices. The bread maker mixes and kneads the dough, bakes the bread, and then automatically switches to the Keep Warm function. This keeps the bread warm and crunchy for 60 minutes. You can determine for yourself whether the crust will be light, medium or dark. Are you making nut bread? The machine will then automatically indicate when to add nuts and raisins to the batter. The heat-resistant casing doesn't become searing hot during baking.
There is nothing better than waking up to the smell of freshly baked bread. No more 'sponge' bread from the supermarket for us. Only good filling, fresh and responsible bread. There is a clear description of the device and all associated functions (including a number of recipes) so that the baking process really can not go wrong. On my first try, I had put the ingredients in the wrong order, but still a nice loaf of bread came out! (See photo for my first bread baking attempt)
Although we ordered the bread machine from a health point of view (know what you eat/fresh bread whenever you want), I was curious what such a homemade bread would cost me (stay a Dutchman anyway). For the fellow curious among us, here's my calculation: The price you pay per loaf depends on the ingredients, energy and depreciation of the bread maker.
Ingredients: To start easily with bread baking, I use a 'super whole wheat' bread mix that I bought at the local supermarket (2.99 for 2 kg). I use 320 grams of this per loaf (I adjust the flour to the yeast bags), so for the mix I pay 48 cents per loaf. In addition, I need 1 bag of yeast (3 cents), salt and water (1 cent). The total of ingredients for my bread costs me 52 cents per loaf.
Energy: The bread maker has a power of 600 watts. The bread baking program I use takes 3.5 hours. Where the bread maker does not run at full power for at least the first 2.5 hours. I assume 1.3 kWh per loaf. With an average energy price of 22 cents per kWh, this cost item amounts to 29 cents per loaf.
Depreciation: Since bread makers are quite robust, I estimate that this bread maker can handle a minimum of 500 loaves. The depreciation for this machine would then be 12 cents per loaf.
In total I would pay 93 cents per loaf for the loaves of bread as I have made them so far. I am convinced that it can be even cheaper in terms of ingredients if you would make the mix yourself, but for now I will go for the simplest way. Normally I would pay 2.20 for a wholemeal bread at my bakery. Although these loaves are slightly larger, the bread I bake myself is more filling (so fewer slices are needed). The difference between these loaves is 1.27. That means that after baking only 50 loaves of bread I would already have this machine out!
3 down, 47 to go!

There is nothing wrong with this bread maker. Delicious bread from the start, which gets even better with practice. Occasional problems with rising too quickly and sagging bread, but that can easily be solved with a little less yeast and water. The bread tastes no less. If you want to bake your bread in the oven, you can leave the kneading to this machine. You really don't need an expensive kneading machine in imperial red for that. It does squeak a bit when kneading. I think it sounds nice myself. I usually remove the dough hook from the dough at the beginning of the second rise; if you let it bake with it, it is often stuck in the bread, sometimes not even visible; Trying to cut a dough hook with your good bread knife is a shame. If you suffer from a dough hook that is difficult to remove from the machine, it is sufficient to grease the opening well beforehand. All in all a great thing for little, I'm happy with it!

Well, I thought I'd join the hype too. But then you have to choose a bread maker. That's a lot of work for someone who isn't a baker. Chosen by chance because it is not too expensive. First loaf was immediately successful, and only 1 loaf failed. What cannot be attributed to this device, you have to read measuring cups carefully.
However, there must be a warning sticker on the box. Something like 'Watch out, it's addictive!' or 'Other bread is no longer tasty, know what you're getting yourself into' or something. And don't let those around you know that you have such a device. You keep baking for them.
