The HD60s is record of course in HD.... so it takes a lot of space when you record compared to the HD60
which has H.264 compression which means..... it makes a smaller file of your recordings so you don't have to use that much space for your recordings.
I calculated it if you record 30 min in HD60s then it is 9.0GB compare to the HD60 it is 8.75GB difference in storage space is about 250MB
