According to our console expert
The PS4 Pro is about twice as powerful as a PS4 Slim, so you can play the latest games in 4K with HDR and improved performance.
Even with 1080p TVs and monitors, the PS4 Pro delivers nicer graphics and significantly improved performance (going from about 30 to about 60 fps).
The extra processing power of the PS4 Pro makes it extremely suitable for use with the PlayStation VR gear.
To get the most out of the PS4 Pro, you need a 4K television or monitor with at least a 60Hz refresh rate.
A second controller to play together isn't included by default.
The PlayStation 4 Pro is for serious gamers who expect the best graphics and performance every day. The Pro is twice as powerful as a PS4 Slim, which means you can play games in 4K, or opt for even smoother images. The image on the PSVR also looks a lot better. If you have a luxury gaming headset or surround sound system, you can connect it directly to the optical audio port. If a 4K TV is still on your wish list, the Pro also displays smoother, more detailed images on 1080p TVs and monitors.
Note: The PS4 Pro is about twice as powerful as a regular PS4. This much computing power generates heat during intensive use. For this reason, it's wise not to place the PS4 Pro in a small or locked cabinet during use. This is the CUH-7216B, which is the more silent model.

I bought the PS4 Pro to replace a first generation PS4, the question that people immediately ask is; "Is the upgrade worth the price?" Of course this depends from person to person, so I can only give my opinion. Let me first mention that I currently still game on a 1080p television and therefore do not have a 4K device available for testing.
I notice a graphical improvement in several games, for example with Battlefield 1, where you get both a graphic boost (by supersampling), as well as a frame-rate boost (or let's say less framerate drops) which gives a better experience in online events. gives. For the details about this you can of course visit YouTube where many tests and the like can be found. (cfr. Digital Foundry).
In addition, the upgrade from a 500GB drive to a 1TB drive was also an advantage for me, this gave me twice as much storage for game data, so more games that I can keep on the disk.
The new Dualshock 4 controller doesn't make much difference, all functionalities are identical to the previous controller, but the thin light strip on the touchpad gives a better indication of the Dualshock's light bar. While I often couldn't see what color it was in the past, this is now clearly visible, which can be useful for some games.
In addition, the PS4 Pro is also a lot quieter under heavy use than the original PS4 system, which is also a small pro! (pun intended).
Is the above really worth the price of the PS4 Pro? For some yes, for others no. I was lucky enough to be able to recoup some of the purchase price by selling my old PS4 system, so it was for me.
If you don't have a PS4 yet and do have a 4K television (or even a 'regular' HD television), then the extra price for a PS4 Pro is definitely worth it!
This is more difficult for people who already have a PS4 system, at the moment there are not that many extreme benefits to be gained from the Pro, the future will show.
