According to our drill expert
You can also use the machine for light drilling in tiles and stone by using the impact function.
The high maximum torque of 50Nm makes the drill suitable for heavy screwing jobs, like loosening rusty screws.
You can also use the included Metabo Ultra M battery on other power tools of the same brand and with the same battery platform.
The maximum drill capacity of 20 millimeters in wood is lower than average in this category.
The Metabo SB 18 L Mobile is a lightweight, compact, and powerful cordless impact drill. It comes with 2 18V 2.0Ah Li-Ion batteries by default, so you never have to be without power. You can also place these batteries on other Metabo power tools with the same battery platform. In addition to screwing and drilling into wood and metal, you can also use it for some of the more demanding drill work in brick thanks to the impact function. The SB 18L Mobile is ready to use straight away. It comes with a well-stocked accessory case that's also useful for transport and storage. Is it too dark to see your workpiece? No problem. The built-in work light provides light in the dark.

Wanted a decent cordless screwdriver/drill for a while and now with the move it was the right time to get one. I had first ordered the Metabo BS 18 Quick Mobile variant without the impact drill function, but for a few bucks more I would also have the impact drill function. So order super easy and quickly canceled via the chat function and ordered the Metabo SB 18 Mobile. On Friday I had already picked up the Metabo KGS 216 M crosscut saw at Coolblue and the next morning I picked up this great powerhouse and the job could begin. The crosscut saw was even brought to the car, what a service! :)
Arrived home of course unpack everything immediately and boy, everything felt very solid! Feels good in the hand, not heavy, powerful, exactly what I was looking for! I immediately put 1 battery in the charger so that I could make meters with the job. I had to make about 44 meters of skirting boards and I did this with a clip system, so first drill, plug in and screw on the clip. Had a box of plugs of 100 pieces and even something of 20 plugs, so had to drill a total of 120x (6 mm) and screw 120x. All that on 1 battery and had half a charge left! (on the back of the battery you can press a button to see how much power the battery has left, super handy!)
The impact drill function is ideal and replaced the drill in my job, so I could do everything with only 1 machine. So far very happy with the choice! In the future we will see when the drill still has to come into action, but this boy will surprise me positively I have the idea :) And the light is certainly useful for the somewhat dark places where you do not have direct light, just a pity that it does not stay on for a few seconds after use.
As far as Coolblue is concerned, it is always a top service and order some regularly, keep it up guys (and women) :-)

Very satisfied with both the drill and the service from Coolblue. Drill does what you may expect.
Device purchased to replace a Hitachi whose batteries were empty after 6 screws. With this, much more powerful machine, I can screw and drill what I want up to now, without the battery quickly letting me down. As mentioned, the device also has much more power than my old machine: so you don't have to grab the hammer drill as quickly, purely because the Metabo SB 18L can do it for me for most purposes.
Also very happy with the supplied accessories: this makes the product complete in my opinion. All in all, very happy with it: just in time for work in the new home!
In addition, I was also able to experience the service of Coolblue again: a day after purchase, the price turned out to have dropped a lot. The difference was neatly returned!
