Unfortunately, I was the victim of theft and so I was able to buy a new cordless drill. Chosen for Makita, for this I had a DeWalt, absolutely no regrets. Fits well in the hand, is a bit lighter than the DeWalt and with the 5ah battery it lasts a long time. Can use immediately after receiving it. This happened to be in a poorly lit spot so the light came in handy. PLEASE NOTE, it does not come with a battery, but also not with a charger, so you have to buy it with it. But if you are thinking about an 18v cordless drill, you can buy this without thinking, great thing.

According to our drill expert
The drill is part of the Makita LXT 18V battery platform, so you can use batteries from this platform on this saw as well.
You can get started right away and work without interruptions with the included batteries.
With a drill capacity of up to 38mm, you can drill large holes in wood.
You can't drill in hard materials like stone, concrete, or tiles.
A cordless drill that can be used for any job, large and small. The Makita DDF482RTJ has a very high 1900RPM speed, but is still very user-friendly with a 1.7kg weight. No matter how many jobs you perform, the special casing protects this model even better against dust and moisture and lasts even longer because of the protection against overload and overheating. This is a reliable machine to have at home or in the back of your van, which comes with 2 strong 5Ah batteries of 18V.
