According to our gaming headset expert
The Arctis 7 features the same high-end 40mm drivers as the much more expensive Siberia 800 series.
Thanks to DTS:X, you hear sounds exactly as the game developers have placed the sound in the room (only on PC).
The adjustable headband is interchangeable, useful if you want to personalize the headset.
The headset only works wirelessly via the USB receiver on PS4 and PS5 (stereo) and PC (DTS: X Surround sound).
The tuning software is extensive, but adjusting it as desired takes time.
The SteelSeries Arctis 7 2019 is a wireless gaming headset with which you'll hear in-game sounds exactly as the developers intended. On a PC, the headset makes use of DTS:X technology, with which developers can determine ingame sounds accurately and spatially in the game. On the PC, PS5, and PS4, you'll have wireless sound via the USB receiver. On the Xbox One, the XBox Series S/X, and mobile devices, you have stereo sound. Playing for hours is no problem, as the adjustable headband is also suitable for larger heads. The ear cushions are made from special breathable material that you normally find in professional gym clothes. The headband can also be replaced with a headband with another pattern, so you can always play in your own style.

In the end, this was my 3rd choice after I first bought the Trust GXT 383 Dion 7.1 Bass Vibration Headset and as 2nd the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 PS4. The Trust sounded fine and comfortable to wear, but the connection options were not optimal for me personally for the PS4. The Turtle Beach, on the other hand, was a disappointment. Both wearing comfort and sound quality were below average. Especially the exaggerated bass bothered me. I was able to exchange both at Coolblue without any problems and opted for the Steelseries Arctis 7 on the advice of the specialist at Coolblue. Wow, what a great product. I'm glad I traded the previous one for this Arctis 7.
Leave the packaging intact as much as possible. This way you can easily exchange it if it does not meet your expectations and the next owner also has an item as good as new via 'second chance'.
Also a thank you to the Coolblue employees. Real top service! Absolutely satisfied customer!

I bought a used one in new condition. I am very pleased with the sound quality, not to mention the equalizer. The headset actually fits perfectly because of the elastic band that prevents it from pressing on your head. The pads are made of fabric, which ensures that it does not get so hot when worn in the summer. The headset has no RGB. This isn't a problem for me, but it's something to keep in mind if you plan on connecting all peripherals together. It lasts a long time on a full battery and can be charged with a micro USB, I'm not a fan of that, but I don't use it while charging anyway. The cable does feel a bit “cheap”. Furthermore, a top model and recommended to anyone who can afford it.

Because of the USB dongle you can easily connect your speakers. When you turn off your Headset, these boxes will turn on automatically. The Chat dial is also very useful if you are on discord and one is always talking through your game. Via this Chat dial you can also turn down discord and make the game audio louder. This also works with Teamspeak. Even if you mute your Mic, you will see a red light on your microphone that you have been muted.
This headset is also highly recommended. I also tested these with my PS4 and also Xbox. It also works like it does on my PC. 1 Tip install Steelseries Engine and set the Headset profile to Performance for better quality in game.
