According to our slowcooker expert
With the start delay function, the slowcooker starts cooking at the time you set, so that the dish is ready on time in the evening.
You can also use the inner pan on your gas stove or electric cooktop to sear the meat in advance.
With the timer, you'll know exactly when the slowcooker is ready, so you don't have to monitor it yourself.
A slowcooker is quite large and heavy and takes up a lot of space.
You can prepare delicious and healthy meals without any hassle in the Russell Hobbs MaxiCook Searing Slowcooker 6 L. The slowcooker has 3 temperature settings, so you can cook the most diverse ingredients together. Thanks to the large capacity of 6L, you can even prepare a dish for large groups. Searing meat is also possible, because the inner pan can be used on a gas or electric stove. Is your dish ready? Place the pan safely on the table, with the cool handles. You can clean the separate parts by hand after use.
Durability
This pan is a very nice pan for me. I have osteoarthritis, also on my hands, so that the pan is not heavy is a big plus. You can use the aluminum inner pan on the gas to pre-roast your meat. But my experience is that searing is only for the color so it is not necessary. You put all the necessities in the pan turn it on (super easy operation) set your time, say 8 hours for stew, and you know your food is ready 8 hours later. I thought it was a must to have a timer and delayed start time on the pan. I benefit a lot from that. The keep warm function will be practical, but I haven't needed it yet. I am alone and have deliberately chosen this large pan. I just make big batches and freeze them separately. That way I always have something at home when I don't have time to cook. The pan is also extremely well suited for making soup. I deliberately chose this brand and the 6 ltr pan. Most people brag about the crockpot brand. But firstly, that brand is much more expensive and secondly, I hear many people complain that it gets too hot. I spent a month searching the internet for reviews for the right pan and came across this one. Fewest complaints and most satisfied users. The price is in relation to other pans with timer, etc. Very reasonable. I've had this pan for 1 month now and I'm very happy with it. I can really recommend this pan!

Bought this after I returned the Crock-Pot Slow Cooker 4.7 L due to lack of start delay. Tried it out for the 1st time and have already been able to make very tasty Rendang. Another advantage is that you can first sear the meat on the fire (with the removable pan) and then continue to stew until done. Design is slightly less than Crockpot I personally think, but since it is not fixed on the counter, no deal breaker. I think we're going to have a lot of fun with this.

Nice slow cooker! Very handy that you can even set it when the cooker needs to be switched on and that it jumps into keep warm mode after the cooking time. Spacious pan for a good price.
