A gem in this price range

I was initially looking at significantly more expensive projectors, but concluded that 4K with good contrast and laser lighting is still an expensive rarity. I came across this Benq by chance when I was looking for projectors that are suitable for gaming. Given the price, I didn't have high expectations, but the reviews from specialized websites and users at webshops were very positive. That's why I decided to use this 1080p projector until 4K projectors got better and cheaper.

After receiving it at home I immediately connected it and watched some material from Youtube on a white wall with a Chromecast. Very positively surprised. I now project from a PS4/Bluray player/media streamer onto a good 120" stretched canvas and use Hi-Shock 3D glasses for 3D content. I am very satisfied with the image quality. The contrast is perhaps less than that of the better projectors that a few thousand euros, but a very high contrast is only useful if you darken a room well with dark colors on the walls.This is fine for our space.Years ago I watched 3D on my previous TV ( LCD, 60") but the image at 120" with the Hi-Shock glasses is very immersive and better than expected. Someone writes in the review that the projector is 'large in size' and 'a little expensive'. I would say: that's not about anything, it's just a nice compact device at a great price for what it has to offer.
