According to our pan expert
Thanks to the 28cm diameter, you can cook large pieces of meat.
The frying pan is suitable for all heat sources, including induction and use in the oven up to 230°C.
You use little oil or butter while cooking, thanks to the non-stick coating.
The non-stick coating isn't scratch-resistant.
The Demeyere Alu Pro 5 Frying Pan 28cm has a good size for preparing a large steak or piece of salmon. The pan is made of aluminum, which means it reaches the right temperature quickly. The bottom of the pan is extra thick and consists of 3 layers. This allows you to use the frying pan on an induction cooktop, but it's also suitable for all other heat sources. Thanks to the titanium base layer, the non-stick coating is extra durable. In order to prevent damage to the non-stick coating, we recommend you don't use spatulas made of hard materials and that you clean the pan with some soapy water after use. Demeyere has a 5-year warranty for manufacturing and material errors.
After two years, the non-stick coating ridges and pieces are missing. Not covered by the warranty because it was caused by 'user damage'. I think I followed the manual properly, so not acceptable.

In the beginning a good pan, but within two years the non-stick coating comes off. I did not expect these pans with this price. Sent pans and of course got the response that it was my fault that the layer came off..
