After several months of struggling with the poor quality of the scans, I reported the problem to HP. Printer was exchanged without any problems (received a 9020 for a 9022 but according to HP it is the same model). New printer has just the same problem: scans through the document feeder are all scanned obliquely. Sometimes the rolls spin a bit and pieces are compressed or stretched. Since I have the same problem with 2 different printers of the same model, I can only conclude that there is either a structural problem with this model or that I am very unlucky.
