According to our headphones expert
Active noise canceling reduces distracting ambient noise and white noise.
With a battery life of 36 hours, you can listen to music for a long time without having to charge the headphones.
Personalize the sound reproduction via an equalizer in the Jabra Sound+ app.
A 6.3mm adapter isn't included with these headphones.
The headphones weigh 521g, so they might feel heavy on your head.
Enjoy your favorite music in silence with the Jabra Elite 85H. These wireless headphones feature noise canceling, a technology that blocks disturbing ambient noise. When someone starts talking to you and you take the headphones off, the music immediately pauses. When you put the headphones back on, the music will resume. The headphones' battery lasts for 36 hours, even with noise canceling switched on. That is longer than with other noise-canceling headphones. Stream your music wirelessly from your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth.
Note: Jabra does include a charging cable, but no charger. Use your own accessories, or purchase them separately.

When I first put the Jabra Elite 85H on my head and look in the mirror, I see that it is very large. Although I like the design, I don't like the size. However, the headphones are comfortable due to the soft ear cushions and headband made of leather.
Noise canceling works well on the road and in the office I am quite impressed with the noise canceling. In a crowded train compartment and in the back of the car I almost only hear the music. In the office I can still hear people sitting close to me talking, but that is not disturbing. That's why I use the headphones both on the road and in the office.
Clear, but soft sound When playing a few songs I can hear that the sound is clear. This allows me to listen to music in high quality. I do notice that the sound is quite soft. I have to turn off the volume limit on my iPhone when I really want to enjoy my favorite songs.
App has been expanded I personally like it when there is extra bass in my music. That's why I download the Jabra Sound+ app, where I adjust the sound to my own taste via an equalizer. I select the preset bass equalizer and immediately notice the difference. The music now sounds a lot more powerful. I also adjust the settings of the headphones in the app, such as switching the noise canceling on and off.
Battery lasts all week I travel a lot by train and from door to door I travel for 3 hours every day. That's why it's important to me that headphones have good battery life, as I can't always charge them. With a battery life of 36 hours, I don't have to charge it for more than a week. When I do have to charge the headphones, I use them again for 5 hours after charging for 15 minutes.

I bought this headset because I have been using Jabra as a headset for my mobile phone for years. I really can't live without my Jabra mono bluetooth headset, the sound is great for both parties, background noise and wind are filtered out well. However, those headsets have one drawback: they are mono, so they sit in one ear and your other ear hears all the other sounds. I work at home a lot and in and around the house there are always noises that distract you, so I looked for a headset with noise canceling, preferably from Jabra. Man, what a relief this is!!! the number of exclamation marks should fill 3 lines. You put on the headset, choose either with the button on the headset or with the "noise canceling" app and you are suddenly on a deserted beach in the Pacific Ocean. You don't hear anything anymore, no neighbor sawing a garden house, no vacuum cleaner, no washing machine..... nothing Then choose your favorite music on your mobile and press play. Your face relaxes, your fingers touch the keyboard of your laptop and you start typing and typing and typing..... Productivity-to-the-max And suddenly the music stops, a soft ring fills your ears: A caller.. You click on "record" and you are in conversation with your favorite customer. He notices your relaxed attitude, he feels comfortable with the attention you give him. You discuss the assignment in a relaxed and gentle tone. He's going to order, finish the quote. He hangs up, the music swells softly. It's a beautiful day....... Time to post a review on Coolblue

Now with the corona situation, everyone is at home and many conversations are held via Skype, Zoom and Teams. Super handy that that is possible, but with two people in a 58m2 apartment, this can cause a lot of distraction. Because I can't concentrate well when someone else is calling across from me, I thought it was a good time to buy a noise-canceling headphone. Buying the Jabra 85h is one of my best purchases this year!
First of all, the noise canceling: it works great! Of course, there are probably headphones that let less sound through, but I am very satisfied with this model. When my friend is on the phone and I am sitting across from him with the headphones on ANC and some music playing (low to normal volume) I barely hear him. Perfect!
The design: I read in a review that the headphones would be very large. I like this. Headphones are never small, especially if they fall over the ears, but I don't find the size of this one disturbing at all. Furthermore, the right shell has buttons for controlling the sound (play/pause, volume, etc) that are easy to find and operate. The buttons for the microphone and mode switch (ANC, off, hear through) are also hidden and easy to operate.
The accompanying app is easy to use. Everything speaks for itself and there are many things that you can still set yourself. Very nice!
I read in reviews that the sound is a bit on the soft side. I like that very much. I've mainly used the headphones at home, which means there's little sound to talk about, and I don't dare to put them on full volume, because I'm afraid my ears will pop apart. I also read that it can become heavy on your head after a while, but even after an eight-hour working day, I have not had any problems with this.
The only downside for me is that there is no power button on the headphones. As a result, I can't turn it off at night, which drains the battery a little bit. This is not much, but since it is a wireless device, it would be more convenient to be able to save the battery completely.
Finally, the airplane adapter was not included with me. Since I absolutely want to use the headphones on the plane, because I find that loud sound very disturbing, this was a minor setback. I contacted Coolblue about this and the adapter could not be delivered. I could, however, return the headphones to get a new one, if all goes well with an adapter. Since I now use the headphones on a daily basis, I forgo this. So this is my own choice and Coolblue has solved it well.
