According to our drill expert
Thanks to the impact function, you can drill not only in wood, plaster, masonry and metal, but also in tiles and brick.
With a drill capacity of up to 36mm in wood, it's suitable to make large drill holes.
You also use the included Makita G battery on other power tools of the same brand and with the same battery platform.
The machine doesn't have work lighting, making jobs in poorly lit areas difficult.
With the Makita HP457DWE impact drill, you can not only screw in wood or metal, but in tiles and stone as well. This is useful if you want to hang outdoor lighting or put a screw in the wall for a nice hanging plant. Thanks to its light weight of 1.7kg, you can work comfortably for longer. And thanks to the ergonomic handle, you can work even more comfortably. The impact drill is cordless. This means you don't need an extension cord and you can work in places without a socket. You can easily drill holes of up to 36mm in wood, which makes the drill suitable for average to heavy drill jobs. In addition, the HP457DWE has adjustable speed, so you can adjust the speed of the machine exactly to your job.
Good cordless drill, nice that you can also clamp up to 13 mm drill shaft. Miss a light during drilling (had my old one from Lidl)

Pleasant device. Fits comfortably in the hand, but feels a bit heavy. I will deliver a clean storage case. To drill in concrete, I prefer to quickly grab a hammer drill with cord. Three different hammer drilling, drilling and screwing positions, always at 2 speeds. Lithium battery more reliable than NiMH.
