According to our monitor arm expert
Thanks to the thumbscrew, this monitor arm is suitable for nearly every desk.
You can adjust the mount to your ideal working posture and prevent joints pains.
This monitor arm is continuously adjustable, so it doesn't take as much effort to adjust the ultrawide (curved) monitor.
Due to the clamp attachment, you can't attach this monitor arm to the wall.
With the Neomounts NM-D775BLACKPLUS Monitor Arm Gas Spring High Capacity Black, you can work on your ultrawide (curved) monitor in an ergonomic and comfortable way. The arm is easy to mount on your desk with the included clamp. You can attach a screen with a size of up to 49 inches to the desk arm. Simply set the screen to the right angle or rotate it so you can work on the screen with a more ergonomically-sound posture. You can run the cables through the cable duct to keep them neatly out of sight, which you hide with the screw-on plates. This monitor arm can carry up to 18kg, so you can attach nearly any monitor to the arm.

The Neomounts NEXT Core DS70PLUS-450BL1 Monitor Arm ensures a tidy workspace and an ergonomic posture. I can easily place a second monitor without my desk becoming messy. Installing the monitor arm takes little time and is not difficult, although it would be nice if a screwdriver was included. There is a small Allen key with which you can install the monitor arm.
Easy to install Assembling this monitor arm is quick and easy. Thanks to the thumbscrew, I can install this monitor arm on any desk. For example, I use it in my office and place it on different types of desks. Installation is not difficult thanks to the included manual. The arm only has 2 parts. The only disadvantage is that there is no screwdriver in the box, so don't forget it when you install the monitor arm in the office. Despite that, there are 2 Allen keys in the box, which you use for installation.
Ergonomically adjustable I use the monitor arm for my 24 inch monitor and tilt it regularly throughout the day. This way, I don't have to worry about reflections from the sun. In addition to tilting and turning the monitor, I also adjust its height. For example, I place it next to my other monitor or laptop at the same height. When I work standing up, I adjust the monitor arm up to 55 centimeters in height. I use little force when I adjust the arm, thanks to the gas spring. This allows me to adjust the monitor arm without any effort. This ensures that I don't suffer from neck or back pain when I sit in the office for a long time.
Hiding cables There are 2 cable ducts under the monitor arm where I put the cables from my monitor. I don't have to worry about cables floating above my desk and getting in the way. I slide the ducts open without any problems and hide my cables. This also gives the arm more freedom of movement, because the cables are not taut. The cables also don't catch dust due to the cable management. This keeps my desk neat and clean.

In itself a very nice monitor arm with a lot of freedom of movement. However, it won't handle my Samsung Odyssey G9, hangs no matter how tight you tighten. With every movement, the screen drops down. The gas spring holds up fine, but the screen points downwards.

The product was great, however today 1 year after purchase I ran into my screen hanging down this morning. In step 6 of the manual at the bottom right, the head that causes tilting has failed. My screen of 13 kg. (18kg max advised) was apparently too heavy. This has been cut back as 8 (4 each side) small plastic pins (1mm in size) are used here to support the weight. These broke down sometime between last night and this morning and dropped my screen. Warranty makes no sense since I will then again get plastic things. I'm trying to solve it by drilling out the old plastic pins and replacing them with steel pins. It is therefore not suitable for heavy screens.
