According to our mobile phone expert
This small iPhone fits into your pocket entirely and you can operate it with one hand just like the iPhone 7 / 8 / 12 mini, the iPhone 11 / 11 Pro / 12 are larger.
Take sharp photos with the 12-megapixel camera with portrait mode.
Thanks to the fast A13 processor, your device can handle the most demanding apps as well.
The device doesn't have a 3.5mm connector to connect your headphones or earbuds to.
Note: a charger and earbuds aren't included, so you have to purchase those separately.
The Apple iPhone SE 2 128GB Black is a real powerhouse with a familiar look. Thanks to the superfast A13 Bionic chip, all your apps load in seconds. With 128GB of storage, you have enough space for your photos, videos, and apps. The smartphone is very similar to the iPhone 8 in appearance. For example, the device has a glass back, so you can now also charge the device wirelessly. The smaller size makes it easy to fit in your pocket. On the 4.7-inch screen, you can easily watch your favorite movies and series and send your messages. You can still unlock with Touch ID via the physical home button. In addition, you can take the most beautiful photos and 4K videos on the iPhone SE 2020 Black with the 12-megapixel camera with portrait mode.

Apple iPhone SE is a compact iPhone that fits easily in my pocket. This iPhone does look outdated in my opinion, due to the classic design.
Classic, recognizable design From the outside you don't see that you have one of the latest iPhone models in your hands. I think the design of the Apple iPhone SE looks old-fashioned. The wide screen edges take some getting used to. Especially since my own iPhone 11 Pro has almost no screen edges. On the bottom edge of the screen I find a home button with Touch ID. Unlocking via fingerprint is always very nice to me. This way I also unlock the device when it's on the table and I don't have to bend it to have my face scanned.
Compact size Apple iPhone SE has a small size. The device fits in the pocket of my jeans. I also easily hold it with one hand and operate the small screen with my thumb.
Single camera I didn't expect much from the single camera on the back beforehand, but the quality of the photos positively surprised me. The photos have bright colors and I see many details. In addition, I take portrait photos of my friends. The background is blurred thanks to the bokeh effect. The quality isn't as good as its iPhone 11 series big brothers, but I'm very impressed. I do miss the night mode with this camera. In low ambient light, the photos are therefore poorly exposed. In addition, I miss the ultra-wide angle lens. For example, it's difficult to get the full picture of the sofa in my small living room with this single wide-angle lens.
Small, bright screen The screen ratio is 16:9. That's the same ratio as most movies and series, so they fit seamlessly on the iPhone SE screen. In addition, I find the colors on the screen clear and natural. Still, I wouldn't grab the iPhone SE so quickly to watch a series. And that's because of the quality and size of the screen. With its 4.7 inch, I think it is too small to comfortably watch movies. In addition, the resolution is about 720 pixels, so I see pixels better than on my own device: Apple iPhone 11 Pro.

I was looking for the smallest possible phone with the best possible quality. I definitely found that in this phone. The build quality is really fantastic. I think the screen is very nice for an LED screen. In addition, the device is very fast and it is fluent to operate. What I also found very important is the quality of the camera and I must say with the camera you take really beautiful pictures. And don't forget that you get updates from Apple for about five years. With Android, that's only a year or two. All in all, definitely recommended.

Great iPhone and finally one that doesn't immediately cost a thousand euros new. Not too big, not too small. A camera that you can get along with, great battery and nice and fast. No more crashes, no more apps that don't work. If you go from a 6, 7 or 8, but are afraid of a laptop in your pocket, then this is a great device!
