According to our IP camera expert
This IP camera is plug and play, so you can easily set it up using the app.
You can talk remotely to people or animals in your house via the speakers.
Store footage from this camera in the cloud, so you can view them from anywhere in the world.
You need a good WiFi signal where you're installing the camera, so consider a WiFi extender to create a strong WiFi network near your camera.
You need a subscription to save and watch back the footage.
The Eve Cam is a compact security camera which guards a space in your home. You can easily connect it to Apple HomeKit, so it's particularly suitable for Apple users. The camera has a magnetic stand which allows you to mount or place it on a useful place in the room. If you pair this IP camera to Apple HomeKit, it'll work with all your other smart devices. You can watch the live camera feed in the Eve app. And thanks to the built-in speakers, you can also communicate with people in the room via the app. The Eve Cam has night vision up to a distance of 5 meters. To store footage and activate the precise motion detection, you need an iCloud subscription.
Note: you need an Apple TV or HomePod to use the camera.

Waited a long time and finally arrived. Fully meets my expectation. Very easy installation via the home app in IOS. You plug the camera into the power, scan the QR code on the bottom of the camera with your phone via the home app, and 1 minute later it works completely. This is also the case with the other products I already had from Eve.

It is not possible to easily apply facial recognition, since storing images in i-cloud implies taking the entire photo library from the hard drive (and not a selected part of it).

Too often the camera has to be reconnected because an image is shown.
